Museum dedicated to Arthur Conan Doyle's famed fictional creation, Sherlock Holmes, who lived on Baker Street in Marlebone
According to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous novels, Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson lived at 221b Baker Street from 1881 until 1904 now it's one of the world's best-known addresses. The building, formerly an Abbey National, was turned into a dedicated museum in 2005. The upstairs quarters are kept exactly as described in the novels, including the famous office overlooking Baker Street, as well as wax figures and memorabilia.
