Marylebone Summer Festival: Music Line-up

Join us on Sunday 9 June for live entertainment on the stage in Paddington Street Gardens from a variety of talented solo artists and groups.

Stone Jets

Take feel-good music, wrap it in some rhythmic soul, together with meaning and sincerity at its core and you get Stone Jets. Calling London their home since 2019, Given, Manfred and Adrien, have performed all over Europe. The fusion of the three, together with a simple yet substantial melodic songwriting style and strong live performances, makes them a formidable force on the verge of eruption.

Iris & Steel

Iris & Steel are an English folk & country group who blend soulful strings, sophisticated songwriting and rich vocal harmonies to create a timeless and original sound. Iris & Steel performed to a packed-out stage at Latitude Festival in July 2023, after being personally invited to perform by George Ezra, who discovered the band on Spotify earlier that year.

Musically, Iris & Steel draw their inspiration from the likes of Big Thief, First Aid Kit, The Chicks, Johnny Flynn and The Staves, though the band are much more than a list of influences; their music bears its own distinctive style. Blending the heartfelt intimacy of indie folk with touches of Americana, country, blues, rock, and even punk, what sets Iris & Steel apart is their unique combination of instruments. Each plays a clear and essential role which, coupled with storytelling lyricism and warm, soulful melodies gives the band a rich and dynamic sound that deeply resonates with listeners and captivates live audiences.

Rock Choir

Rock Choir are a pioneering contemporary choir with over 33,000 members participating in approximately 400 local communities throughout the UK. They were the first contemporary choir to offer an accessible and inclusive experience for amateur singers.

The Marylebone Rock Choir are becoming a regular appearance at Marylebone Village events and this year they’ll be bringing some sing-a-long classics to the Marylebone Summer Festival.

Metronomes Steel Orchestra

Metronomes Steel Orchestra are an innovative steel band and community based in west London. They teach and perform steelpan music, promote Caribbean heritage, and run projects to benefit local people.

Metronomes play an important role in the local Caribbean community, bringing families together and helping to reduce social isolation. The band are looking forward to bringing some Caribbean sunshine to the Marylebone Summer Festival!

Glowe

Since 2019 the rising artist Glowe has been steadily growing her fanbase. It’s all thanks to her infectious blend of alt-pop tunes that boast catchy melodies, relatable lyricism, and lush vocals. Over the last few years, the songwriter has gained support from various tastemakers such as the team on Radio 1’s Future Pop, she has landed herself on numerous Spotify editorial playlists, and sold-out headline shows in London and a debut showcase in LA.

HEIDI

HEIDI is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Southend, currently signed to 3beat (Universal). With a record deal, Love Island sync and appearances on Sky News & BBC Radio 1 already under her belt, 2024 is set to be a strong year. HEIDl's viral DnB banger 'Do You Remember Me' has racked up over 432K plays, 650K views on TikTok.

Crediting music with saving her life, HEIDl's passion for songwriting is utterly infectious. Then there's the voice - deeply powerful and full of energy, angst and passion - the self-professed 'big gob' wrote her first song at 6 years old and hasn't stopped since. Her realness, openness and charm seal the deal - to know her is to love her!
