Merry Marylebone: Stage performers
Join us on Wednesday 13th November for live entertainment from a variety of talented solo artists and choirs who will be taking to the stage situated on Devonshire Street, overlooking Marylebone High Street.
To kick off the festive celebrations, from mid-afternoon we will be joined by local school choirs who will be performing their favourite Christmas songs. The schools performing are St Vincent’s Catholic School, St Marylebone School, Queen’s College Preparatory School and Queen’s College Senior School.
After the school choirs, we will be welcoming performances from some of the best up-and-coming singer songwriter talents in the UK.
Glowe
Since 2019 the rising star Glowe has been steadily growing her fanbase, and it’s all thanks to her infectious blend of alt-pop tunes that boast catchy melodies, relatable lyricism, and lush vocals.
Over the last few years, the songwriter has gained support from various tastemakers such as the team on Radio 1’s Future Pop. She has landed numerous Spotify editorial playlists, and sold-out headline shows in London and a debut showcase in LA.
MØDUPÉ
MØDUPÉ is a British singer/songwriter and guitarist of Nigerian and Ghanian descent and born in northwest London. Her soulful, powerhouse vocals and slick, catchy melodies are captivating.
MØDUPÉ has always had an eclectic taste in music; Whitney Houston, Paramore and Destiny’s Child have been huge influences in her musical journey.
MØDUPÉ recently released her first single “Whenever” as well as a bonus collab track called “Meant to be” with producer Joe Singo.
Rock Choir
Rock Choir are a pioneering contemporary choir with over 33,000 members participating in approximately 400 local communities throughout the UK. They were the first contemporary choir to offer an accessible and inclusive experience for amateur singers.
The Marylebone Rock Choir are becoming a regular appearance at Marylebone Village events and this year they’ll be bringing some sing-a-long Christmas classics to the stage.
SATRE
Born and raised in Stockholm, SATRE left his home, family and friends and relocated to London in 2018 to pursue a career as a musician. SATRE’s music and his live shows have been described as emotional, euphoric and energetic.
SATRE started making a name for himself in the British music scene in 2022, becoming one of the most successful street performers in the country.
