Merry Marylebone: Charity tombola

We are excited to announce that Marylebone Village will be partnering again with Mind in Brent, Wandsworth, and Westminster for the Merry Marylebone Christmas Lights Switch On event taking place on Thursday 9 November from 3pm - 8pm.

Mind in Brent, Wandsworth, and Westminster are a leading provider of mental health services based in the heart of London. They deliver high quality, clinically informed mental health services to local communities working in partnership with the NHS, Local Authorities, and community stakeholders. Their work has been embedded in our community for over 50 years. Everything they say and do is rooted in the experiences of people who know what it’s like to live with a mental health challenge.

Throughout the event there will be a range of festive activities for all ages in full swing with 100% of all proceeds being donated to Mind in Brent, Wandsworth, and Westminster. These experiences include wreath making workshops, polaroid photography and a Santa’s grotto. There will also be the ever-popular charity tombola which will be offering the chance to win fantastic prizes from a host of Marylebone Village brands, including a nights stay and dinner for two at The BoTree Hotel, a meal for two at The Coach Makers Arms, a £250 voucher to spend at Little Greene, to name a few.

There will be contactless tap payment points located at each activity across Marylebone Village, where you are able to donate a contribution in support of Mind.

Just £5 contributes towards funding their diverse community programmes including psychoeducational workshops, creative wellbeing groups, and physical activities. These groups reduce feelings of isolation and empower people to live independently.

A £10 donation helps to provide employment skills training, giving people the confidence needed to get back into or stay in work.

£20 funds a spot on an ecotherapy programme. Time in nature is proven to increase calmness, concentration, confidence, and self-esteem. It simultaneously reduces symptoms of anxiety, depression, and irritability.

We look forward to celebrating with you in Marylebone Village on Thursday 9 November.
