Marylebone Summer Festival: Weekend Activities

Family-friendly Entertainment
Head to Paddington Street Gardens on Saturday to see two spectacular film screenings to be enjoyed in the day or under the stars at night; a family friendly screening of Disney’s Encanto at 1:30pm and blockbuster hit Elvis at 8pm. In the tranquil surroundings of the open gardens, there will be pre-film activities to enjoy including free table tennis, live music from 3pm (see line-up here), food stalls and a festival pop-up bar in partnership with 108 Brasserie.
Tickets for films start at £7, book for Encanto via Design My Night here and for Elvis here. All profits will go to the London-based Greenhouse Sports charity who use sport to engage young people and improve their lives.
On Sunday, kids can have a boogie and learn to dance with Alyssia Fleur Dance School’s series of classes which includes; Baby Ballet (ages 2-3) between 11:00-11:20, Poppies Ballet (ages 3-5) between 12:00-12:20, Encanto Dance Workshop (ages 3-6) between 1:30-1:50, and Extra Poppies/Baby Dance class between 2:00-2:20. Please note, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be a full programme of fun activities for families to discover, including a Ferris wheel, a photo booth, stilt walkers, bubble artists, face painting, a juggler and more.
Marylebone Summer Festival Dog Show
The popular dog show will return for the second year, hosted once again by Mr & Mrs Small in St Marylebone Parish Church Gardens on the Sunday from mid-morning until late afternoon. The event for fluffy companions and owners will be presented by BBC Radio London’s Jo Good and Anna Webb - a duo who have co-authored the book Barking Blondes and host The Barking Hour on BBC Radio London. There will be competitions starting at 12pm, with prizes to treat your little pup to be won in the following categories - Look Like Your Owner, Best Fancy Dress and Special Talents. There will be a stall from dog food delivery service Marylebones and other special appearances from Marylebones and Beco Pets.
For the yoga lovers, participate in Doga classes during the afternoon, commencing at 3pm and 4pm and running for 45 minutes, these classes are the perfect bonding session for you and your pet pooch. These classes will be hosted by Mahny – Dogamahny and mats are provided!

Street Party
For one day only Marylebone High Street and its surrounding streets will be traffic free with over 80 on-street stalls to be discovered down the pedestrianised streets of Marylebone Village featuring food, fashion and wellness open from 11:00am - 5:30pm (until 8pm in Paddington Street Gardens) on the Sunday.
The festival will showcase the best of Marylebone Village’s lively drinking and dining scene. Grab a bite to eat at stands and special menus from Fischer’s, La Fromagerie, Orrery, Ginger Pig, The Italians, The Coach Makers Arms and more. Or enjoy a refreshing drink in the sunshine at pop up bars hosted by Aubaine (champagne bar), Carlotta (Aperol Spritz bar), Granger & Co, Home Marylebone and Le Vieux Comptoir.
Fashion, beauty and wellbeing brands in the urban village will offer an array of activations and exclusive discounts, including Fresh, Dinny Hall, Fabriano Boutique, Little Greene, Margaret Dabbs, RIXO (look out for the famous disco Joni bus!), Seraphine and Tracey Neuls and many more.
Get a Sweat On
Visit charity partner Greenhouse Sports’ zone in Paddington Street Gardens with activities including table tennis, basketball shooting and more. Local fitness studio AMP will be hosting its Green House Olympic Challenge in collaboration with the Harley Street BID.
Rewind at wellness brand Lululemon’s Zen Den on Devonshire Street, with guided meditation and snacks guaranteed to recharge your batteries. Don’t miss THIRD SPACE’s stand on Marylebone Lane, where there will be fitness professionals to discuss wellness goals, a health screening (including body composition scales, blood pressure testing and grip strength testing) and two challenges with prizes.
